Born 5 April 2024, Cheeto is our handsome red blotched tabby and the very first purebred Maine Coon to join our family. I had always dreamed of having a ginger cat and a Maine Coon, and with Cheeto that dream came true. It was love at first sight from the very first photo the breeder sent me.
Cheeto is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met — he thrives on human company and can’t imagine life without it. A big, cuddly boy, he’s famous in our home for his enthusiastic head-butt kisses and toothy smooches. He’s also wonderfully vocal, and not above bullying his sister out of the favourite box if he decides it’s his turn.
Playtime is serious business for Cheeto. He adores his ping pong ball and mouse toys, but nothing compares to the laser light — his obsession knows no limits! He’s also incredibly food-motivated, willing to do almost anything for a treat or his dinner.
Cheeto was never intended as a breeding cat, but as my first Maine Coon he holds a very special place in my heart. He and his sister are the reason I fell even more deeply in love with the breed, and ultimately why I decided to begin breeding — to share that same joy with others.
